about the farm

This coffee comes from a network of smallholder producers near the village of Konga in Ethiopia’s renowned Yirgacheffe district. Grown at elevations between 2,000 and 2,300 meters, this coffee benefits from rich volcanic soil, ample rainfall, and generations of local farming knowledge. Cherries are handpicked over 5–7 passes and fully washed with 36–48 hours of fermentation, then sun-dried on raised African beds for 7–10 days. The result is a carefully prepared coffee composed primarily of wild-growing heirloom varietals. High elevation and careful processing produce coffees known for their floral notes, citrus brightness, and silky mouthfeel.
