about the farm

The coffee is grown in the Kintamani highlands of Bali, a volcanic plateau situated between roughly 1,300 and 1,700 meters above sea level. This region benefits from fertile volcanic soil, cool mountain air, and a balanced climate that supports slow cherry maturation and complex flavor development. Farms are smallholder-managed and organized under the traditional Subak Abian system, a cooperative structure that oversees agriculture and cultural practices. Coffee is typically cultivated alongside shade trees such as Albizia, Erythrina, and citrus trees. Farming utilizes organic practices - the use of pesticides is banned and all fertilizers are 100% organic.
